The Administrative Charging Committee is comprised of five members

  • The Chair of the Police Accountability Board
  • Two civilians appointed by the Police Accountability Board
  • Two civilians appointed by the Mayor

In order to be eligible for appointment, candidates must be a resident of Baltimore City.

Time Commitment: It is anticipated that the Administrative Charging Committee will meet for a full day (8:30am-4:30pm) once a week in order to review all complaints and investigations sufficiently.

Members will also be required to attend an initial week long training in preparation for their service on the Committee.

Meetings will initially be held virtually and may transition to in-person over time. 

Members will serve three year terms and may serve up to two consecutive terms.
