Dr. Janetta K. Gilmore is an established Human Capital Consultant with more than 15 years training corporate soft skills and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR); mediating workplace conflicts; conducting organizational assessments; performing cultural assessments; and coaching management.

A lifelong resident of Baltimore City residing in the 13^th District, Janetta grew up in east Baltimore in the very diverse neighborhood in McElderry Park. The daughter of a Baltimore City 911 operator and an autoworker for General Motors, Janetta was taught early the value of family and the importance of respecting authority.

Janetta has earned a Doctor of Education from The George Washington University researching personalities and mediated collective conflict; a Master of Science in Leadership from Duquesne University; and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Communications from the University of Maryland, University College.

In her spare time, Janetta an avid golfer and can be seen at local sporting events.
