Rachel has more than eight years of business operations and project management experience. She is a senior operations manager for a global health and supply chain project that procures life-saving commodities for people worldwide. Originally from Queens, NY, Rachel was raised by her mother and grandmother and credits a strong network of women for her success today. Baltimore reminds Rachel of the Queens of her childhood - a vibrant, often misunderstood place with insurmountable potential. She looks forward to leveraging her position on the commission to build linkages between communities and local government to make Baltimore a more equitable place. Rachel has her MSc in Globalization and Development from SOAS, University of London, and a BA in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University. She lives in Remington with her partner, Brendan, and golden retriever, Dolly Mae.
